ANNOUNCEMENT (NOVEMBER 16, 2008)


  • SUNDAY SCHOOL – 9:45 AM. We have classes for all ages, including three adult classes. - Pastor Barker is teaching I & II Thessalonians.
    - Bro. Thompson is teaching the Gospel of John.
    - Bro. Michelet Sainvailus is teaching Bible Doctrine (in Creole).
    - Pastor McGowan teaches the teen Sunday School class for grades 7-12.
  • PREACHING SERVICES at 11:00 AM & 6:30 PM.

  • WEDNESDAY EVENING SERVICE at 7:30 PM.

  • THURSDAY EVENING HAITIAN PRAYER MEETING at 7:30 PM.



  • PLEASE PRAY FOR REVIVAL (Psalm 85:6).


  • THANKS TO THOSE who supported our annual missions conference – especially those who housed missionaries, took them out to eat, etc. We have Faith Promise cards for those who need them.


  • IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT… After the preaching service, Pastor Barker and Bro. Garry Lagradelle, our church treasurer, have a brief announcement to make to our members. All members are encouraged to stay for a few minutes after the service.

  • BUILDING PROGRAM… the electrical work is almost finished. Our next projects: fire sprinklers, fire alarms, and church parking lot and fence. Please designate all gifts. Thank you!


  • NEED TO FAST AND PRAY… In order to complete the church renovation work, we will need the involvement of the whole church. There are many who do not support the work of God here at Bible Baptist Church.


  • OPPORTUNITIES FOR MINISTRY:

    * Soulwinning and visitation - every Saturday morning at 10:30 AM, and every Tuesday evening at 7:30 PM.

    * Weekend Cleanup team (auditorium, classrooms, hallways, bathrooms, etc.)



  • SPECIAL MEETINGS:

    * Children’s Christmas Program on Sunday, December 7 at 6:30 PM.

    * Children’s Choir singing at the Maple Pointe Assisted Living Home on Saturday morning, December 13.


    • * Teen “Progressive Dinner” on December 13 at 5 PM.

    * Crown College ensemble on Sunday, Dec. 14 at 6:30 PM. We will have refreshments after the service.

    * Christmas Service with special music on Sunday, December 21 at 6:30 PM.

    * Christmas Eve Service on Wednesday, December 24 at 6:30 PM.

    * Watchnight Service on Wednesday, December 31 from 7:30 PM till midnight. We will have dinner and a Bible quiz before the preaching service.
