Less than 1% of children have attended a Sunday school class.
Between 2% - 11% of the population attend church regularly.
There are approximately 150 - 180 Independent Baptist Churches in Australia.

  • Average size is 30 - 40 members
  • Approximately 1/3 have no pastor
  • Approximately 1/3 have a national pastor
  • Approximately 1/3 have a missionary
Compare - The population of Australia is equal to that of Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina but these states combined have over 1,500 Independent Baptist Churches.
